Upon successful completion of this program you will have the option to sit the National Healthcareer Association’s (NHA) Certified EKG Technician (CET) exam to become a certified EKG Technician. What does an EKG Technician do?

Electrocardiography (EKG) technicians are important to any healthcare team. They apply, monitor, and measure electrocardiography and administer various cardiovascular tests including measuring basic vital signs, performing rapid response procedures, operating an EKG machine, and identifying and analyze heart rhythms.

 

What skills are important for EKG technicians?
